"What kind of tree is this! What is the "Lemon Tree Project"?

In an initiative from Heisei 31, "The birthplace of lemons in Japan was Atami."
This is a project to disseminate safe and secure Atami lemons to the world by cultivating Atami lemons by the students themselves.
At the same time, elementary, junior high, and high schools and industry and academia (communities and schools) collaborate.
We sell Atami lemons, develop and sell processed products, and hold local events (Lemon Festivals).

I was impressed by such an initiative.
At PICA Hatsushima, as the first step from last year,
Together with the students, we planted a lemon tree in the Asian Garden R-Asia.
As the second step, there is a photo spot with the image of lemon,
We have started developing and selling food using lemons.

In the future, we will continue to support high school students who have discovered a new resource called "Atami Lemon".
We will support the project together with the local community.
