Today I'm going to write about the types of firewood!

PICA Fuji Gurinpa mainly sells three types of firewood.
(1) Cedar and cypress (conifers)
(2) Nara (hardwood)
(3) Sakura (hardwood)

First, from 🤩 the difference between conifers and hardwoods

As for conifers, softwood contains a lot of oil and has a low density of firewood, so it is easy to catch fire and is suitable for ignition.
In addition, it is light in weight and easy to chop firewood, so you can easily chop firewood with a machete or knife as an igniter!
The thinness sold is sufficient, but if you don't want to use an igniter, you can make it even thinner to make it easier to catch fire.
It's also perfect for making feather sticks, which ♪ are familiar from bushcraft
Instead, they burn out faster compared to hardwoods!
Conifers are most often used for kindling.
If you try to make a bonfire with only one bundle sold at PICA Fuji Gurinpa, it will burn out in about 30 minutes.

Then there's hardwood!
Hardwood is the exact opposite of softwood, it has less oil and a higher density, so it is difficult to catch fire, but it holds ♪ fire very well
In the case of hardwoods, it is a little difficult to chop firewood.
As you can see if you make it thinner than the size sold at PICA Fuji Gurinpa, it burns faster and cuts faster.
If you make a bonfire with the same thickness as possible, it will 🤩 burn slowly without having to throw firewood over and over again

Next, let's talk about the types of hardwood [Sakura] and [Oak]!
* The photo will be [Nala]. I'm sorry I don't have a photo of Sakura!

There are two types of hardwood at PICA Fuji Gurinpa!
You're lost, aren't you?

Get lost here, here! I tried to 🎵 summarize it so that you can judge

【Sakura】
It makes firewood with a nice aroma, as it is also used for smoked chips!
In addition, the density is lower among hardwoods, so it is easier to chop firewood.
It has less fire and heat than oak, so it is recommended for those who want to enjoy the scent + bonfire!
Depending on the method, the approximate burning time for one bundle is about 1 hour ~ 1 hour and a half

[Nala]
Oak firewood is made from acorn trees!
It is also said to be the royal road of bonfires.
It has a high density and a high heat capacity, so it is ideal for 🤩 cooking on a wood-burning stove
In the cold season, there was more Nala than Sakura~!
The fire is also good, so if you want to enjoy an orthodox bonfire, [Nara] is recommended!
The approximate burning time for one bundle is 1 hour and a half ~ 2 hours

It is a hardwood for sale, but please note that depending on the time of year, there may be times when only one of them is placed if it is a sakura!
Right now, we only sell [Nala].

Have you decided on your favorite firewood?
When purchasing, let's say [here] to the staff with a dodgy face.

It's still very cold in PICA Fuji Gurinpa compared to the lower world!
Let's ♪ have a good time with your family, friends, and alone while relaxing by a bonfire at night
